The Dnghu Association and related member organizations form together what is called the Indo-European Network.

Indo-European Language and Culture Organizations:

The main aim of the Indo-European Language Association (Eur. Dnghu Adsoqiation) is the promotion of Indo-European culture and languages. Europe's Indo-European heritage and especially the Modern Indo-European language system (MIE) are promoted within the European Union but also outside its frontiers. The Dnghu Association long-term objective is to become the reference Institution for MIE-related matters, such as its officiality, teaching and learning, knowledge certification, etc.

Instead of a single, universal organization, time has shown that local, regional and national organizations work better for the promotion of the language revival. Dnghu's objective is to be able to unite efforts and facilitate the work of European and international organizations that share our aims.

To apply for membership, request more information or simply propose any collaboration, please use our contact form.

Type of Membership (All Free of Charge):

Indo-European Network Members are the most independent type of organizations, and this kind of collaboration is generally suited for most organizations willing to help us. All type of corporations, whether public or private, have the right to be a Network member, provided that they are willing to support the Indo-European language association aims, and that their membership is previously approved. They may not participate on MIE discussions, and neither elect nor be eligible for the Dnghu Board, and may only use Dnghu's names and trademarks exclusively for promotion of Dnghu's events and works. Organizations eligible might be any cultural, social or even political ones, and they might be legally incorporated or not. Collaborations range from simple link exchanges to promote each other's projects to more thorough agreements on mutual benefits for members, international activities, etc.

Dnghu Association Observers are Associations or Foundations (i.e. not-for-profit organizations) directly related to the Proto-Indo-European language revival, to the study of the Proto-Indo-European language, and even to other related subjects, such as the learning or study of Indo-European or European languages, linguistics, etc. They are independent organizations, but work officially as Dnghu Federates, provided that they have submitted a previous request of membership, which must be approved by the Dnghu Board. They may participate on MIE discussions, but have no vote; they do not elect but their members are eligible for the Dnghu Board, and may use the names and trademarks of Dnghu under supervision.

Dnghu Association Chapters are the most restrictive type of IE corporations. They are created and managed under the direct supervision of the International Dnghu Board, and its work and membership is monitored from its headquarters. On the other hand, this type of organization is entitled to participate in Modern Indo-European grammar discussions, they elect and are eligible for the Dnghu Board, and may use freely the names and trademarks of Dnghu. For example, the "Asociación Dnghu", is a Spanish Association incorporated as a Dnghu Association for Spain, but other associations may be created, as e.g. a Regional Association of the Basque Country or a Local Association of Barcelona.
