Indo-European Language Learning:
The teaching and learning of
Proto-Indo-European words and Modern Indo-European's main grammatical rules
are essential for the success of Indo-European as a spoken language.
Almost every effort made at Dnghu is dedicated to develop the
grammar and
vocabulary of the Modern Indo-European language, so
that it becomes as usable as any other of its modern dialects.

A complete and detailed Modern Indo-European language course
has been planned by Mario Basile. The published document (in Alpha version - revision 0.1) contains
the first sketch of the course and its first lessons. It is expected to receive
comments and collaboration before it can be
published as an official document.
Oriented towards a step by step learning of grammatical rules and
vocabulary, and dealing with situations of modern-day life in an Assimil-like way,
it is designed as the core of what should become the main (self-)learning course of
Modern Indo-European.
With the publication of more stable and complete versions of the course, it is expected that lessons
should be made available in audio format, too. But before that,
some minimal revisions must be completed, and your help is key for a quicker development.

Old Modern Indo-European lessons (2008 - deprecated)
The old sketches of lessons to learn Modern Indo-European,
corresponding to version 3.0 of the grammar, or first
printed edition, have been deprecated. They are still available at the site:

Following this strategy, the Dnghu Group is developing different Internet-based projects related to these
different dimensions of the teaching and learning of Indo-European:
- Indo-European Translator-Dictionary, a PHP-based Indo-European
Open Translator-Dictionary Engine, to be able to write and read the language
until it is learned.
- Indo-European languages portal,
a Wiki web site for public collaboration, to further develop, translate and discuss the MIE grammar details.
- Eurōpājóm,
a collaborative Wiki Web site written in Modern Indo-European. Other sites for PIE dialects
have also been arranged.
